Norway Killer Could Be Held in Luxury Prison



Anders Behring Breivik could be jailed in one of the world's most progressive prisons, where inmates enjoys cells equipped with flat screen televisions, minifridges and designer-style furniture. Halden Fengsel prison was opened last by King Harald V and is home to some of Norway's most hardened criminals, including murderers and rapists. The jail is spread over 75 acres of woodland just outside Oslo and facilities include a sound studio, jogging trails and a two-bedroom house separate from the main facility where convicts can stay with their families during overnight visits. Guards move around the prison unarmed and often play sports.

Tortoise with Prosthetic Leg



This tortoise damaged its left front leg so badly that the veterinarians had to amputate it. Then they came up with a prosthetic leg that was nothing short of genius.

The artificial limb put on an African tortoise at Washington State University didn't come from a high-tech prosthetics lab. It came from a hardware store.

The caster-style wheel cost around $7, according to the two veterinarians who installed it on the tortoise after amputating a damaged front leg.

Dinosaur Park in Poland



For many years Poland lacked a good theme park, now dinosaur parks are everywhere. The country’s first park devoted to dinosaurs opened in 2004 at Baltow in the Kamienna river valley. Apart from dozens of natural size figures of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, the park offers a fossil museum and a children’s playground.
